The Supply Chain Director creates the company’s supply chain strategy. Their role is to evaluate and report on key performance indicators, analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks, and maintain the supply chain inventory and records. Their responsibilities are to monitor logistics, find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes, train and guide employees, collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth, resolve issues that come up, ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards, and develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain.
