The Senior Materials Scientist analyzes the chemical properties and structure of different materials to gain new knowledge. Their role is to create new ways to strengthen existing material, combine particular materials or create brand new materials with the advancements of certain properties. Their responsibilities are to determine how new materials can best serve and improve humanity, conduct research, plan laboratory experiments, prepare reports, devise testing methods, test individual parts and products to ensure quality, and supervise and monitor production processes.
