Senior Geologist Job Description
Overview
The Senior Geologist researches earth processes, studies earth materials, and analyzes the history of the earth. Their role is to observe how natural processes affect the earth, and how the natural environment is affected by the earth’s materials. Their responsibilities are to analyze geological, geochemical and geophysical data collected by tests and surveys, develop new methods for geological analysis and data collection with the least harmful environmental impact, manage sampling and reports from apprentice geologists, measure seismic, volcanic, electromagnetic and gravitational activities, design topographical and geological maps, provide geological assessments and advice to government...
