Sales engineers communicate with customers to negotiate the product or service sales. They establish and bring new business accounts by identifying potential customers. Sales engineering is a hybrid role that combines sales and engineering that utilizes a person's ability to connect with customers, and to understand and explain the organization's technology well enough to sell and support it with customers.
