Residential Advisor Job Description
Overview
A Residential Advisor (RA) is a student leader responsible for providing support to their community of residence hall students. RAs serve as role models, mentors, and resources for the residents they serve. They maintain an environment that encourages personal growth and development while helping to create a sense of belonging within the residential community. The RA's primary responsibilities include building relationships with residents, addressing behavioral concerns, promoting inclusivity and diversity initiatives, planning educational programs and activities for the residence hall, enforcing policies and procedures set by campus administration or housing department staff members, servin...
