Research Engineer Job Description
Overview

Research engineers work in laboratories analyzing processes, conducting experiments, and designing new products and technology. Responsibilities of a research engineer include analyzing, implementing, and testing the materials developed in a research lab, drafting research and grant proposals, maintaining contact with research sponsors, creating designs for instruments or devices based on innovative concepts, and converting concepts into viable products.
