Overview

A reliability engineer emphasizes the ability of equipment to function without failure for a specific period of time. Responsibilities of a reliability engineer include loss elimination, risk management and life cycle assets management to cope with failures in software or hardware of the product, measuring results, performing detailed/routine engineering calculations, analyzing failures and identifying the root cause, and preparing reports.
