Quality Control Technician Job Description
Overview
Quality control technicians are responsible for testing materials and finished products to ensure that they conform to all applicable laws and company standards on product functionality. Quality control technicians test products across all stages of production (before, in-process, and final) to ensure quality levels are met. Various duties and responsibilities of a quality control technician are to support performance of regular quality testing, inspection, and procedures, and also to initiate corrective actions to have needed adjustments to product functionality to meet required specifications.
