Program Manager Job Description
Overview
The Program Manager works closely with the project sponsors, cross-functional partners, and assigned project managers to prepare and develop scopes, deliverables, required resources, work plans, funds, and timing for new initiatives. Their role is to manage the program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams. Their responsibilities are to develop and manage the budgets for projects, work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.
