The Planner oversees deliveries in a supply chain. Their role is to analyze supply and demand, and make inventory projections for all departments. Their responsibilities are to minimize both overstock and out of stock occurrences, monitor inventory supply, design and implement tools for inventory management, customer issues, and order problems, respond to customer feedback and complaints by developing new systems and methods, and help identify inefficiencies in the filling and shipping of company orders.
