Personal Care Worker Job Description
Overview
A Personal Care Worker assists patients with hygiene and personal care. Their role is sanitizing medical equipment, performing basic household cleaning, and teaming up with a physiotherapist or medical professional to assist in administering medications. Their responsibilities are to help patients make menu plans and shopping lists, provide dependable assistance in completing errands, encourage physical activity and mental alertness, analyze the patient's health and well-being, provide emotional support, and assist clients with physical therapy exercise.
