Personal Banker Job Description
Overview
A Personal Banker is responsible for providing a variety of banking services to customers. They must be knowledgeable about the bank’s products and services, including checking and savings accounts, loans, mortgages, investments, insurance policies and other financial instruments. Personal bankers are also expected to provide advice on budgeting and money management techniques as well as recommend appropriate financial solutions tailored to their customer's needs. Other duties may include opening new accounts, processing deposits or withdrawals, processing loan applications or helping customers with online banking issues.
