Nutrition Specialist Job Description
Overview
A Nutrition Specialist uses their knowledge to help others learn to make healthy food choices, and plan meals that support their overall health and longevity. Their role is to plan and prepare meals for individuals and groups in various environments and give special treatment to those who have diabetes, heart disease, pregnant women, or are recovering from illness and injury. Their responsibilities are to write and publish articles to educate the public, conduct scientific research to expand field-related knowledge, and create full and personalized nutrition plans that promote healthy lifestyles.
