A nursery worker is responsible for providing care and supervision to children in a nursery setting. This can include planning activities, creating safe environments, helping with meals, supervising play-time, teaching basic skills such as potty training and dressing themselves, monitoring health and safety standards of the environment, communicating with parents or guardians about their child’s progress and more. Nursery workers also need to be able to identify any potential signs of developmental delays or other issues that may require further attention from medical professionals.
