Network Administrator Job Description
Overview
The Network Administrator is responsible for the regular operation of computer networks at businesses and organizations. Their role is to assess an organization’s network and computer system needs, install hardware and software, and make upgrades and repairs as needed. Their responsibilities are to oversee digital security, perform maintenance that all systems are operating efficiently, collect and analyze data to optimize performance, train users on hardware and software, troubleshoot problems with the system, and supervise both the local area and wide area networks.
