Maintenance Supervisor Job Description
Overview

A Maintenance Supervisor examines facilities periodically to resolve problems and evaluate necessary maintenance needed. Their role is to plan weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work, recruit, control and train maintenance technicians, and appoint and supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance. Their responsibilities are to investigate and maintain building systems, contribute to the growth of the maintenance budget, monitor the inventory of materials and supplies, participate in the coordination of projects, and ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety management.
