A Legislative Intern works for a legislator by aiding research, administration, and communication. Their role is to perform research, communicate with constituents, attend committee hearings, observe chamber floor work, and fulfill clerical and errand activities. Their responsibilities are to assist officials with performing their duties more effectively, research proposed legislation, attend council hearings, and provide duplicates of various declarations and records.
