Infrastructure Manager Job Description
Overview
An Infrastructure Manager specializes in computer network infrastructures. Their role is making sure network costs are on budget, serving as a liaison between IT staff and project stakeholders, and ensuring their employer’s systems are online and fully operational. Their responsibilities are to collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics and develop a plan for meeting them, develop a plan for their employer’s operating system, communicate the technical aspects and needs of the network to non-technical stakeholders, and keep records of all activities within the network.
