Information Systems Analyst Job Description
Overview

The Information Systems Analyst determines how thoroughly software, hardware and the wider IT system fit the business needs of their employer. Their role is to create requirements for new systems, help implement them, and monitor their effectiveness. Their responsibilities are examining current systems, talking to users, producing specifications for new or modified systems, liaising with other IT staff to produce new systems, and tracking user practice and feedback.
