The Information Security Director administers and establishes the overall procedures and strategies for the information security function. Their role is to promote information security awareness within the organization, and develop and implement information security and disaster recovery programs. Their responsibilities are to manage a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function, evaluate information risk, create functional strategies and objectives, and develops budgets and policies to support the functional infrastructure.
