Health Educator Job Description
Overview

The Health Educator teaches individuals and the community on how to live a healthier lifestyle. Their role is providing health and wellness education, and supporting the planning and implementation of new programs. Their responsibilities are performing intakes, maintaining patient logs, consulting with physicians and health education services, presenting information, developing and maintaining health education, recording information, maintaining databases, mailing lists and telephone networks, supervising professionals, and performing health needs assessments.
