The head of recruiting is responsible for leading the recruitment and onboarding process within an organization. This role requires a strong understanding of human resources principles, best practices, and industry trends in order to attract top talent. The Head of Recruiting will be responsible for developing strategies to source candidates from both internal and external sources, assessing qualifications through interviews and other assessments, making job offers, negotiating salaries, managing onboarding processes, tracking recruiting metrics such as time-to-hire or cost-per-hire; as well as working closely with hiring managers to ensure successful placement of quality employees.
