Front Desk Assistant Job Description

A Front Desk Assistant is responsible for providing professional and courteous customer service to guests, visitors, and patrons of an organization or business. This includes greeting customers upon arrival, answering questions in person or over the phone, taking payments for services rendered, scheduling appointments and reservations, issuing receipts and tickets as well as verifying identification. In addition to these primary duties a Front Desk Assistant may be required to perform other tasks such as filing paperwork, photocopying documents and assisting with office tasks.
