Event Coordinator Job Description
Overview
An Event Coordinator manages all event operations and evaluates the event’s success. Their role is to oversee the event in order to quickly resolve any problems. Their responsibilities are to perform final checks on the day of the event to ensure everything meets standards, hire personnel, research and negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms, book venues and schedule speakers, plan events with attention to financial and time constraints, and understand requirements for each event.
