Desktop Support Specialist Job Description
Overview
A Desktop Support Specialist assists with troubleshooting calls and performs installations, desktop maintenance and upgrades. Their role is to extend technical support for technology projects, assess user needs, and develop technical solutions on work-related issues. Their responsibilities are to document technical support and business processes, direct all operating systems and corresponding software, install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot end-user desktops, determine and execute system reconfiguration needs, establish end-user service level agreements, configure and install new phones and computers, offer remote support, manage peripheral support devices like printers, and support...
