Builder Job Description
Overview

A Builder is responsible for the construction and maintenance of structures, such as buildings, roads and bridges. They work with a range of materials including wood, metal, concrete and plastic to create or repair these structures. Builders ensure that all works are completed in accordance with safety regulations and local building codes. In addition to physical labor, builders must also be able to read plans and blueprints accurately in order to understand the scope of each job before beginning any work. They may also need basic math skills for measuring materials accurately when constructing projects.
