Architectural Designer Job Description

An Architectural Designer is responsible for designing, planning and overseeing the construction of various types of buildings. They must be able to interpret client needs and create designs that meet those requirements while staying within budget. An architectural designer may also develop concept drawings, prepare specifications, review contractor bids, conduct site visits during construction and ensure compliance with building codes. Additionally, they often need experience in computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce detailed plans and blueprints.
