Role: Vendor Manager / IT Contract Manager
Location: Wilmington, DE

We are seeking a Vendor Manager, based in the Wilmington office, reporting directly to our Global VMO Leader.

Job Responsibilities:
- Procurement and Sourcing Activities:
- Lead procurement activities including reviewing terms, conditions, and pricing for commercial and shrink-wrap software licensing, software maintenance, application, and managed services support.
- Negotiate professional services agreements and confidentiality agreements.
- Manage the signature and document management process for IT.
- Vendor Management:
- Lead RFP and competitive vendor processes.
- Oversee formal contractual notices and serve as the key contact for software audits to support license compliance.
- Ensure software licenses and services are leveraged locally, regionally, and globally.
- Contract Management:
- Understand and manage software license and support agreements, including terms, conditions, and pricing.
- Align software purchases with IT architecture strategies and specifications.
- Construct purchase deals to save costs and ensure beneficial agreement terms and options.
- Keep connected parties informed of the status of activities.
- Run software audit processes to minimize costs, close gaps, and ensure compliance.
- Strategic Support:
- Support strategic projects to ensure they align with timelines and priorities.
- Review agreements and other documents such as DMFs and RFPs for projects.
- Maintain IT business records related to purchasing and contracting matters.
- Ensure a strong, qualified, and competitive supplier base is available and relationships are maintained
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs):
- Ensure NDAs are in place and sign US IT NDAs.
Additional Roles:
- IT Software and Services Renewal Manager:
- Manage the periodic cycle for subscriptions, software and hardware maintenance, TCOMM, and services for IT.
- IT Budget and Spend Tracker:
- Manage spend tracking and ensure controls are in place.
- Collaborate with Treasury on cash flow forecasts and Accounting on prepaid items.
- IT Procurement:
- Manage IT vendor billing, data maintenance, and metric reporting.
- Create purchase orders and lead industry code approval in MDG Vendor Setup workflow.
- Resolve vendor billing disputes and invoice exceptions quickly and with integrity.
- Manage IT Vendor onboarding processes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiation.
- Strong understanding of software licensing, maintenance agreements, and IT procurement processes.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Prior exposure to IT contract language and terms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in SAP (and ARIBA) or similar ERP systems preferable.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
