Who you are
In this role you will work with the production team and be responsible for painting precast buildings in an enclosed paint booth, including some hand painting for designer rocks, and finish paint work on exterior doors, window frames, etc.
The Industrial Painter is responsible for a variety of painting functions and a proactive safety culture.
What you need
* Ability to operate air assisted and airless paint systems efficiently and effectively limiting waste.
* Ability to mix kits of paint for custom colors and designs.
* Experience with painting complex structures to create photo realism.
* Prepping, priming, taping and masking.
* Maintenance of all paint equipment for cleanliness and operational excellence
* Manage and disposal of waste materials.
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* 1 years' experience working in or around a paint booth and use of paint air sprayer.
* Ability to read and understand drawings and written instructions.
* Experience with most common industrial coating.
* Must be able to wear a full-face cartridge respirator and supplied air hood.
* Ability to exert up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
