The Assistant Front Office Manager helps oversee the reception area, managing all front desk activities and the support staff.  Their role is to be ready to respond to a variety of requests and fufill them in a timely and professional manner.  Their responsibilities are to educate other hotel employees to address issues, provide training to all personnel working front desk operations, select and analyze requests for hiring new staff members, process payments or credit card payments, and keep a balanced account.

I've taken that to managing people and now actually taking over onboarding and doing more HR role, payroll.</p><p><br></p><h2>Role Challenges</h2><p>A Con can be that you can be working under a lot of pressure with a lot of competing demands especially if the company has a lot of internal and external customers. This career is definitely customer service related so if you don't like working with people I do not recommend it.</p><p><br></p>
